Welcome to UNITE2BWELL, the foundation of a project that blends physical and mental resilience with real-world leadership insights.
This is more than a brand; it’s the hub for a journey that tackles one of today’s biggest challenges, building resilience to face the unexpected with strength, calm, and purpose.
Through my upcoming book, Resilient Leadership, and a series of research-backed challenges, I aim to explore and push the boundaries of leading with resilience.
What Is UNITE2BWELL?
UNITE2BWELL is my commitment to well-being and endurance, brought to life through the lens of leadership. It's a platform to share hard-won insights from a lifetime dedicated to pushing physical and mental limits.
This brand developed out of my experience as a former personal trainer, well-being coach, and facility manager. It builds on my belief that resilience, like well-being, can be developed and strengthened.
The concept here is simple but impactful: by uniting under a shared goal of resilience and well-being, we can face the toughest challenges together and emerge stronger.
I hope that through UNITE2BWELL, I can offer practical and engaging insights that benefit not only individuals but also teams and communities aiming to enhance their ability to thrive under pressure.
About Resilient Leadership: The Book
Resilient Leadership is more than a book; it’s a hands-on exploration of how leaders can adapt, learn, and ultimately build resilience in their lives and within their teams.
Born from years of experience and some hard-learned lessons, the book will guide readers through the fundamentals of resilience, not only as a survival skill. But also as an essential quality of effective leadership.
This isn’t just theory. My experiences in endurance sports, and leading high-performing teams have taught me that true resilience lies in balancing intense periods of strain with careful recovery.
In Resilient Leadership, I’ll share actionable strategies for understanding limits, managing energy, and knowing when to rest and recover.
Readers will gain insights into how to build a resilient mindset and why fostering resilience in teams is perhaps one of the greatest legacies a leader can create.
The Research and Challenges: Pushing the Boundaries.

To bring this book to life and add depth to my findings, I am embarking on a series of physical and mental challenges, which will be documented in the blog section of Unite2bwell.
These challenges aren’t only about testing endurance, they’re a chance to explore how pushing ourselves, sometimes to the edge, can reveal powerful lessons about resilience, growth, and the inner toughness required in times of uncertainty.

Over the coming months, I’ll share data-driven insights and personal reflections on these challenges. For example, I’ll leverage tools like the Garmin Forerunner to track physical metrics and combine these with subjective insights on how these challenges impact mindset and perceived resilience.
This combination of hard data and personal experience will provide a comprehensive view of how these experiences shape the mind and body.
How You Can Follow and Get Involved
I'll post regular updates on research, challenges, and the book on the website. I aim to make this journey interactive, inviting you to join through surveys, interviews, and online discussions.
This isn’t just my journey, it’s one we’ll take together as a community dedicated to building resilience.
Unite2bwell will also be a space for sharing exclusive insights and resources that may help you apply resilience strategies in your life or leadership journey.
As the book’s publication draws closer, I’m also considering additional offerings, such as guided resources and possibly merchandise to celebrate our journey together.
The Road Ahead
The road to Resilient Leadership can be long, marked by challenge, growth, and discovery. I invite you to join UNITE2BWELL not just as a spectator, but as a participant in this shared journey of resilience.
Together, we’ll explore how we can face the unknown with courage and a steely determination, Proving that resilience is not just something you’re born with, but something you build.
Stay tuned for regular updates and insights. The journey is just beginning.
Hi Steve, as I am always interested in how our mental and physical states can contribute to the well being of self and others I'll be looking forward to your insights!
